Parents may drop them off following the above attached traffic flow procedure.
Dismissal and Arrival
Arrival
For students safety and to ensure our processes are as efficient as possible, DO NOT unload students in any area of Hebron Pkwy, Creek Valley Blvd, or on campus property until you are in the unload zone marked by cones.
Only drop off when you are in the designated load zone marked with cones and please pull all the way forward until the zone is full. DO NOT UNLOAD until the whistle is blown by a HVE staff member.
Once all students have unloaded in the zone, all cars will move forward for the next batch of students to unload.
Double lines do not fit alongside buses in the back loop, so please use the single-lane process for everyone’s safety.
Have students ready with their backpacks and encourage them to open their own doors when possible.
Dismissal
Please follow the same loading process as is outlined above for arrival.
Your car tag must be displayed clearly on your rearview mirror for afternoon pick-up.
If you do not have your car tag with you, you must enter through the front office to pick up your child. Students will be dismissed through the front office once the entire dismissal car line has finished.
Extended School Day
Families should park in the parking lot to pick up their child from the ESD designated entrance.
Please DO NOT park in the dismissal car line to pick up your child.
Walkers
For arrival, students who walk to school will arrive through the front door.
For dismissal, students who walk home will exit through the third side door along Hebron Pkwy. The door will be labeled with a sign.
To help ensure a safe and smooth dismissal, we cannot accommodate transportation changes after 2:30 p.m. This includes changes from bus to car rider, car rider to walker, or other end-of-day arrangements.
